New Bunkers for London

Disused stations on the London Underground network (tube stations) are being converted to bunkers in a top secret military operation.

Sources close to the London transport authority, TfL, have confirmed that a number of disused tube stations, including Down Street and Aldwych, have recently been taken over by the British Armed Forces under emergency counter terrorism legislation. It is thought that the stations are being converted into underground bunkers.

Tube stations were previously used as bunkers during World War 2. Opening new bunkers suggests that the UK Government is increasingly concerned about further terror attacks in the capital.

TfL and the British Armed Forces have declined to comment.

More to come.
